Top Ten Tips to Detox
This does not mean a food fast(not fast
food!!)or a food free diet!. Everyday life has to go on and you need to increase on the good
foods whilst you decrease or stop eating the not so good foods.

You will feel rejuvenated after ridding
your body of toxins ingested poisons, alcohol tobacco and caffeine as well as
surplus sugars and artificial additives.
Increase good foods and your body will
function more efficiently.
This is a temporary way of eating which
may encourage a healthier way of eating and better eating habits.
A word of warning-you may feel awful
for the first few days because the body cannot get rid of toxins straight away.
Your food cupboard should contain:
Fruits and vegetables(raw or to cook or
have in smoothies)
Proteins Fish, chicken, pulses, nuts and seeds.
Carbohydrates, cereals, oats.

Drinks
water juices, herbal teas,(no wine!!!!)
Example of a typical day’s menu
Breakfast
Fruit, cereal fruit salad or yoghurt
with seeds and nuts
Snacks
Nuts, fruit or yoghurt.
Lunch, Dinner
Grilled meat or fish with salad or
chicken and salad, and pine nuts.
If not salad have baked winter
vegetables,
Drink to detox

Lots of water at least 6 glasses a day,
juices, preferably freshly squeezed, much needed fluids for the kidneys to
function.
After the first week you will feel more
energised!!

instead of just the basic oranges try cranberries, blueberries papaya, mango, apples
or pineapples, wonderful fruit for detoxifying.
